The red fox can be easily identified by its russet-red fur, pointy ears, white bib and bushy tail. This medium-sized wild dog has the ability to thrive in various environments and has a diverse diet. During springtime, female red foxes, also called vixens, typically give birth to 4-5 cubs and both parents take part in nurturing the offspring.
