Did you know?
• According to The Wildlife Trusts, the tiger moth caterpillars often feed on plants that are considered weeds such as nettles and dandelions. Allowing wild areas in your garden is a great way of encouraging these moths!
• In contrast to the Jersey Tiger Moths’ black forewings and striking creamy-white stripes, their underwings can be different colours– either bright red, yellow or orange.
• They are active both in the day and night time from July to September
