Description
This A6 Hedgehog greetings card is blank inside so you can add your own personal message.
The back of this A6 greetings card includes the following:
The UK’s only spiny mammal, the hedgehog is largely nocturnal and relies on a varied habitat of hedgerows, woodland edges & gardens. Here it looks for mates and forages for beetles, earwigs, worms & caterpillars (hedgehogs are lactose intolerant so must not be fed milk!) The babies, which are first born in the early spring, are called hoglets.
This hedgehog illustration is also available as an A5 print
Did you know?
Hedgehog numbers have plummeted by almost 75% in rural areas. This is due to loss of nesting sites, shrinking hedgerows and a drop in invertebrates. Find out how you can help hedgehogs thrive again
