Description
Dipper art print
A5 art print of a Dipper
The bottom of the print includes the bird’s English and Latin names:
Dipper – Cinclus cinclus
Suggested mount & frame size for this A5 print:
8 x 10 inch (200 x 250 mm approx)
The dipper is mainly found in upland areas near fast-flowing rivers and streams. This unique songbird has a round, chocolate-brown body and is able to swim and dive underwater, helped by its third transparent eyelid. Often seen perched on a rock, it bobs up and down. This is believed to give it a better view of aquatic prey.
